About Us

Being a small home, it allows us to specialise in who we care for - People who need support but are still looking to enjoy their life.

 There is accommodation for 22 residents on the ground and first floor, in single rooms or shared bedrooms most with en suite facilities. All rooms are tastefully decorated, fully furnished and carpeted and fitted with washing facilities.

The home is installed with modern emergency call system and smoke detectors for safety and is fully centrally heated. The access to the first floor is via a fully automated passenger lift and staircases.There is parker bath and a wet room for those who wish to shower.

There is a lounge with a TV set and dining room which offers a lovely view of the garden. A second  sensory lounge for those wishing to read or rest has also been provided for the additional comfort of the residents.

The garden, bedrooms and common rooms are available to residents without restrictions. The residents decide themselves at what time they wish to retire. Residents are given achoice of bringing items of their own furniture, to make them feel completely at home in consultation with the Care Manager.

Meal Times 

We offer a high standard of home cooking to suit individual tastes using as much fresh produce as possible. Menus are planned to provide a well balanced nutritious diet and special diets will be catered for. There are ample drinks served to the residents who can also help themselves from the kitchenette.

Activities

The home encourages residents to pursue their hobbies and interests. Various activities and entertainment are offered such as outings to the seaside in the summer and inhouse motivation is encouraged within the home by the staff.

Services

MEDICAL SUPERVISION: The General Practitioner will visit on request and run a regular clinic.                  
DENTIST & OPTICIANS: Will visit on request.                                                                                      
HAIRDRESSER: Will visit every week.
LIBRARY: Mobile Library visits every two months.
CHURCH: The local Clergy visits every week and gives Holy Communion as requested by the residents.
CHIOPODIST: Will visit on request.
